First things first: I'm not going to write this in the third person when it's obvious I'm the one writing it.

So, here's the flashback.

I was born in the '80s, which blessed me with impeccable taste. Movies raised me, TV shows nursed me, and that's why I didn't just study audiovisual production and screenwriting—I also went on to create my own projects, including the web series "The Becquer's Guide," the short film "Kiahewa: Apocalipsis Now y luego ya veremos," "El émpata," and a few others.

Then I fell in love with the freedom that literature offers, and ended up writing the Invade Me trilogy, which won the Science Fiction Novel Award at the 2023 National Meeting of New Voices in Literature (Letras en Off).

As a writer, I have an absolute blast taking readers down the most unexpected paths, making them laugh, cry, despair—and, while I'm at it, think a little too, which never hurts.

One thing I should warn you about, though: every now and then, I can be a bit of a jerk.

And you've been warned.
