M.D. Parrish

M.D. Parrish is from Bucks County, Pennsylvania and has been drawing her entire life. She met her husband during college art classes and they remained best friends for years, spending their school days drawing together. They ultimately got engaged and married in 2011.

The Parrishes live in the beautiful rolling hills of Bucks County and write stories about their four pets: Hobbes and Peaches the cats, Daisy the black lab/doberman mix, and Charmie the collie. They create under their company Huggy Puppy, LLC, which is named after the many hugs Daisy and Charmie are forced to endure (they don't recommend this with cats).

"Charmie the Collie Lost in the Woods" is the first published book from Huggy Puppy, written and illustrated solely by M.D. Parrish. Currently the Parrishes have three other books in the works featuring all four pets.
