April Johnson

With English as her major and a love of words embedded in her soul, April Johnson can finally add author to her list of accomplishments. The journey to becoming an author was circuitous, with a long layover in administrative work, a couple entrepreneurial avenues and a continuing route in marriage and parenting.

"The Beauty in My Mess" is her first published work and has served as the gateway to additional bodies of work. Two other projects are currently underway, one outlining the nitty grittiness of life as a spouse caretaker and the second being a romance novel. Two completely different genres absolutely, but what's life if not a study in contrasts!

April Johnson currently resides in California with her husband of 15 years and their two children. When she's not checking homework, beating her husband in Spades (ok, that's a stretch and possible flat out falsehood), chauffeuring her kids to various activities, she can be found crafting, couponing, exercising (kind of) and reading said romance novels.
