Diane Dagefoerde

Diane Dagefoerde is an Information Technology (IT) leader with twenty years of experience helping students, faculty and staff drive innovation through technology. She currently serves as Deputy Chief Information Officer at The Ohio State University where she leads a team of 200+ IT professionals who provide core IT services and operations. Diane is a dedicated mentor who has helped many people grow their IT careers, and she is active in her profession representing the University in local, state and national IT initiatives.

As a busy professional and published author, she understands the unique demands caring for an elder parent places on one’s career and personal life. She wrote Managing Elder Care from Afar: A Practical Guide for Busy People to help others care for their loved ones with less stress and more time for the things that matter most.
