Hi, I’m David McLean. I write books which explore how ethical and moral issues like consent, choice, sexuality, violence, ecology and faith are treated in fantasy, and what that says about how we think about these things in the real* world. If that sounds a bit dry, they are also stories of true love and high adventure, with mythical creatures, magic and excitement. Suitable for adults, young adults and older teens, not suitable for younger children (there’s swearing).
