Miss Jaida AhNiaya Mi’shell Bell, the 5-year-old author of Breathe and Believe: You Can Be Anything, was born on January 29, 2013 to Mr. & Mrs. Terrill and Aquanetta Bell of Garner, North Carolina. Shortly after Jaida Mi’shell’s birth, her parents were given a heart wrenching prediction of a mental disability that could result from an infant diagnosis that afflicted Jaida within the first 24 hours of her life. Today, her family and friends are thankful that, against all odds, Jaida is a healthy, smart, thriving, kindergarten student, who is eager to chase her dreams and see the world.

Early on, Jaida began exhibiting signs of creativity that were very unusual for a child of her age. Some family members verbalized that she was born with an eye for fashion. Most likely, they were right because Jaida has been a fashion model since the age of 2-years-old. Having participated in a number of fashion shows, Jaida has been selected by several designers to model their designs.

Jaida’s recent modeling experiences include: Footsteps to Follow Annual Fashion Show, produced by Shaunielle Foster in Greensboro, NC; BBU Awards Fashion Show, produced by Tim Johnson Productions in Raleigh, NC; and designer Melanie Caballero and her Ashley Victoria Collection.

Jaida currently holds the title for Ms. Little Princess of Eastern North Carolina 2018. During the first five years of her life, the energy, poise, and creativity, with which she is blessed, has already taken her far.

On the athletic front, Jaida has been a member of the Raleigh Pixies Cheerleading Team, which won many awards, including the 2016 and 2017 Regional and First Place Regional and State Championship.
