Bitsey Gagne

Bitsey Gagne retired in May 2023 after forty years of nursing, with over thirty of them as a dialysis nurse, to pursue her dream of becoming an author. She enjoys going to the beach, especially the Outer Banks, and taking the ferry to Ocracoke Island which is where she got her inspiration for her stories. She lives in Maryland with her husband of 26 years and her 2 cats.

She started writing nine years ago and completed her first novel, Shores of Forever Search for Blackbeard’s Treasure which she has since rewritten after suggestions from friends. The second edition, Evangeline Shores of Forever is the first book of The Pirate Series. The second book and its sequel, Angie’s Soulmate was published in September 2023. The books are about the continued sagas of Angie and her friends in their quest to find Blackbeard’s Treasure and true love. And to add a twist, have they stumbled upon the whereabouts of The Lost Colonists of Roanoke Island?

Anne’s Bounty is the 3rd book of the series. It's about the friend’s pursuit of Anne Bonny and Calico Jack's treasure with the help of Anne Bonny's spirit. It has a bit of everything with a little romance, some suspense, and some paranormal mystery.

In my latest novel, Templar's Trove St. Clement's Island, the same group of friends go in search of the Knights Templar's treasure with the help of a mystical time travel device and the help of a wild and crazy spirit. Were the Jesuit Monks that came over on the Ark and Dove to the shores of St. Mary's County Maryland actually Knights Templar in disguise?
