Kristi Nielsen

Kristi Nielsen was born in Alberta, Canada and has lived in three Canadian provinces and in seven Canadian cities. Her early childhood years were spent on a farm. Her love for writing began in high school. When her children were young, she wrote children's storybooks but never published them. Now as a grandmother her passion for writing and illustrating children's books has been revived. She published 8 new books in 2018. Kristi also illustrates the children's books she writes. Her love for art led to many awards in the Edmonton Exhibition, even as a child.
