FROM THE AUTHOR: A Note to the Reader GET READY FOR 2020!
As communities, local governments, and privacy experts try to make sense of new technologies, 2020 may prove to be a peak in regulation changes. To help Part 107 flyers, a new edition is in the works.
When I started on the path to obtain a remote pilot license, I noticed immediately the need for concise and organized study materials. Although the Part 107 class was extremely helpful, I ended up creating my own notes. What I thought would be a short-term fix just for me, eventually became this publication. It is a work of both time and dedication. It has tested my abilities as an educator in ways I never expected.
I have had one goal in mind--create something that everyone can understand. Although this publication is new (no "star" ranking), it has been reviewed prior to publication by people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. It has been a long 11 months!
While there is always room for improvement, I do believe this work overcomes the main complaints listed within Amazon reviews of other publications. Above all, this study guide is organized!
Even if you have never flown a drone or taken a physics class, YOU CAN DO THIS!
Wishing you the best in your future career, Kara.
