Kimm Reid

Kimm Reid has written over two dozen books, as well as been part of collaborate writing teams. As a single mother, Kimm raised three sons while earning a degree in Psychology. Raising a handful of boys on her own is a story in itself; from spending hours on youtube trying to tie the perfect knot for her eldest son's grade eight grad only for the youngest son to pull it apart by accident minutes before the event, to learning that piano legs do in fact double as a hockey net, Kimm hopes to write a story one day on the lessons learned—and bruises earned—from that outrageously wild experience.

She went on to earn her Master's in counseling Psychology, but halfway through began to write and stepped away from her schooling to pursue her passion of words. Kimm has worked as a children's pastor, camp director, group home leader, and therapist, co-founded a publishing company, and continues to write. She is a fantastically hilarious speaker, and has recently taken her entreprenerial escapades in another direction; manufacturing!

Kimm also writes children's books under the pen name of Charlie Em.
