Brigid Malloy

Hello! my name is Brigid Malloy and I wrote and illustrated "Bear Goes to the Donut Shop." The inspiration for this story came to me while I was watering flowers (my summer job) outside a donut shop and a police station in the city where I grew up. When I had to come up with a senior project "Bear Goes to the Donut Shop" was born. I graduated from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design with a BFA in illustration and a minor in communication design. Since graduation, I have been illustrating for other authors to help bring their children books to life. When I'm not illustrating I am binge watching my favorite tv shows or painting.
