Derek Moore

Derek Moore is a 30-year veteran of financial markets. For most of that time, he has spoken professionally in front of thousands of people in venues large and small. Crisscrossing the United States, he would appear on stage sharing his knowledge of investing, trading, option strategies, and risk management. Derek has also made numerous appearances on TV, radio, and print media.

Derek is an adjunct professor of graduate finance and economics at a local university. Derek's first book, Broken Pie Chart, outlined new ways of approaching portfolio management. Since 2018 he has hosted The Broken Pie Chart Podcast focused on markets, economics, investing and more. He has also completed 4 full Ironman Triathlons.
