Roberto R. Bengoa

Born in Mexico City, Roberto R. Bengoa graduated from high school in philosophy and literature. He later immigrated to California, USA. There he studied film and theater. For a time, he worked as a copywriter for a television channel in Los Angeles, California. After that, he started working as a screenwriter.

Among his screenplays, the following stand out:

Beyond the Line, selected by Los Angeles Film Festival.

The fighter: film starring Rafael Amaya and Ana Layevska.

Shadows: short film accepted at the Hollywood Film Festival, Newport Beach Film Festival, International Short Film Festival of India (DBICA), Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival (where it received the award for the best short film) and the award for best short film Opera Prima as best new European short film granted by the college of directors of Catalonia.

Go to Sleep: selected at the Sitges Festival in Spain.

Now Roberto R. Bengoa starts a new adventure as a novelist and gives life to the epic fantasy novel: Astral.
