Will Burrows

Born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska by wonderfully creative and supportive parents, my life long passion for creating things was fostered from the start. "Draw from life!" my dad would say, encouraging me to learn to observe the world around me and eventually express what was in my head boldly and accurately. My mom would buy me rolls of butcher paper to draw on rather than a GameBoy, something I'm eternally grateful for.

I have continued to grow my skill-set as an illustrator and designer and have been fortune enough to be involved with a wide range of creative projects.

My latest endeavor, and long time goal, is to illustrate children's books. The arrival of our son was the push I needed to make this goal a reality and partner with award-winning author Scott Provence to form Sock and Wool Books. Out first release, Tall: A Book About Bing Yourself, was released in September of 2018.

I live in Northern Nevada with my wonderful wife Kelly and our rambunctious son Parker.

I received by BA in Environmental Design and Masters in Architecture from Montana State University in 2006 and 2008, respectively.
