Jessica Sarno McLaughlin

Jessica Sarno McLaughlin was born in Memphis, TN and grew up in Germantown with her parents, older sister and dogs. She earned a B.S. in Human Learning K-8 from University of Tennessee at Martin and a Master’s in Education at Union University. Jessica taught for nine years, mostly Kindergarten, in several schools around the city. In January 2015 she was the recipient of Germantown’s Teacher of the Month award. Jessica and her husband have 2 children and a fur baby. Big Brother Hercules was written in memory of Hercules, their first fur baby, and all the fur babies out there that love their little human(s) as much as he did.
