Michael is an ordained Southern Baptist minister who resides in Tampa, Florida, with his wife Deanna, where he pastors a local church. He was born in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina (1955). In 1973 he enlisted in the USAF, with tours of duty in Florida, South Carolina, Virginia and the Philippines. He is a graduate of Southeastern University in Biblical Studies, and Baptist College of America in Christian Counseling. He has authored two books: "God's Addiction Recovery Plan" & "Scripture Free Will & Calvinism." The former is written from his personal experience of ten years in alcoholism and drug addiction. He has also worked with addicts in counseling for several years, and able to understand their troubles. The latter is written based upon nearly 40 years of Biblical Studies, and struggling with the theological issues addressed in the book.
