Mary Day

Mary Day was born and raised in a rural coal community in Southwest Virginia. Her early life was spent exploring and growing up in these small mountain towns and hollers. An influence that undoubtedly reveals itself in her written work. She proudly advocates for her "people," the simple, compassionate & caring mountain people the world often overlooks. Mary has enjoyed traveling worldwide and is grateful for all the experiences. However, her love for Virginia's mountains and their people keeps her calling Southwest Virginia home. She resides with her husband, Paul, and their slew of pets.
