Glenn Banks DDS

Glenn Banks grew up in southern California. Schooling was never easy for him, considered a slow learner by many, he was held back in second grade because he had not yet started reading. This is when the diagnosis of dyslexia was given and extra tutoring began. Reading and writing never became easy but the tutors helped him learn his strengths, learning methods and cooping skills. While attending Brigham Young University–Hawaii he was required to take writing classes. One story written for the class titled Zelia, that short story was entered into and selected for publication in Kula Manu 1995 winter semester, this annual book is of student writings and art. He eventually graduating from BYU-H and started dental school at Indiana University.

Following dental school he started work in the Houston, Texas area. He is active in organized dentistry, served on the board of Houston Academy of General Dentist, and Greater Houston Dental Society Health Committee. Participating in dental volunteer work such as Give Kids a Smile. The prevention of dental disease and a healthy mouth is his motivation

Glenn is not the only author in the family. His father Ray H Banks also published a collection of note to elementary school teaches. And his brother Bryce Steven Banks has also had success in children's books, one of the books is a story about their father.
