Cara Jackson

Dr. Cara Jackson is a spunky, compassion-driven, unassuming philomath. While her enthusiasm for running began as a high school XC and track athlete, her college career consisted of being a campus run junkie.

Dr. Jackson has been involved with AAU and USATF running clubs since 2008, coaching All-Americans in both associations. She's formatted a Walking & Jogging and led Strength and Conditioning classes at the collegiate level as part of a wellness initiative. Dr. Jackson has served as a volunteer track and field coach at the middle school level, as well as youth basketball and soccer, and has been the "perpetual" Team Mom. Her unique approach to coaching incorporates athletics, public speaking, mental toughness training, and exposure to science in a practical environment.

In 2001, she and her husband co-founded a chiropractic private practice, which today emphasizes sports-related injury relief. Her practice is located near Atlanta, GA where she resides with her husband and five children. She is an avid runner - having dabbled in sprint triathlons, marathons, and 5k road races, and continues to be a track and field enthusiast.
