S. C. Ashby

An educator, curriculum specialist, and lifelong learner, S. C. Ashby has been writing periodically throughout life. Growing up in the OC ‘burbs well before it was referred to as the OC (Orange County, California), the author's dreams and imagination were fueled by mystery novels, science fiction short stories, Disney films, and NASA science. She enjoys writing about strong women in the STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, and math) who are proactive problem solvers. She continues to challenge herself by addressing the complexities and diversity of life in her themes while creating characters who struggle against the confines of society as they wrestle with their own anxieties, fears, and their unique humanity.

S. C. Ashby is an avid traveler who enjoys landscape photography and tramping about! She is a music lover who is known to pick up a guitar or ukelele and pick out a tune.
