Theo Michaels

Theo Michaels is a chef, author and presenter known for his Mediterranean casual style of food and also cooking family meals with his kids.

Theo was born in London and comes from a large Greek Cypriot family. He has lived in New Jersey, USA for five years and eaten his way around the world with a backpack. Theo now lives in the UK with his wife and three children.

After reaching the heats of the semi-finals on Masterchef 2014 Theo resigned from his position as a Board Member of a PLC to follow his passion for ‘food’.

Since then, Theo has written five cookbooks, his recent ones being:

- 'Orexi!' Modern Greek food - translated into 3 languages (2019)

- 'SHARE' Beautiful sharing boards and grazing tables (2020)

- 'Rustica' Mediterranean village food (2020)

Besides books, Theo is a food writer with a weekly column and also appears on ITV This Morning, The Food Network, BBC Radio and various press/media.

Theo continues to cook for a living both in the UK and internationally.
