A Nerd With a Mission

In brief, I’m a nerd with a mission who likes to have fun. I’ve always loved learning, and in particular, I have a love for words. This passion took on new meaning as I became an adult and I discovered how powerful words are. The right words – or the wrong ones – can stick with us forever. When I became a mom, I knew the words I used with my son were going to be critical. I choose my words carefully, because despite the sticks-and-stones saying, words seriously have an impact. They can strengthen a child, or tear them down.

My mission as a word nerd is to build kids up with my words. Let's help kids make themselves the hero of their own story together!
