Rae Monique

Born and raised in Pasadena, Ca., Rae is the oldest of five children, and a proud mother of three. Reared in a Christian family, she was taught to love God, and seek His wisdom for every decision. Although she has made plenty of mistakes, that counsel has been her saving grace.

Move or Die is Rae’s first published book. While it started out as therapy for her broken heart, God soon revealed that she needed to share what He had been teaching her for the past several years. By telling her story, and using her relationships as the backdrop, Rae takes the reader on an intense journey that deals with discerning or ignoring the voice of God, making life-altering decisions, recognizing and breaking self-abusive cycles, honoring your unrivaled value in relationships, and always operating in your majestic calling.

At the core of who she is, Rae’s desire is to push people into ultimate physical health, mental clarity and wholeness, and divine, purpose-driven living.

Additional background:

Rae’s early career path began as a fashion model. Her most notable work was seen on the runways in Milan, Italy, as well as on billboards & magazine ads for fashion designers, such as Naj Oleari, and Emilio Cavallini.

Later, she took on roles behind the scenes, such as Casting Director, Producer's Assistant, and eventually, Producer. Her earliest work as a Casting Assistant was on Eddie Murphy's, "Coming To America." Thereafter, her casting projects included sitcoms and films, such as "The Steve Harvey Show," "Moesha" (Brandi), and "Kingdom Come," with LL Cool J., and Jada Pinkett Smith.

As a Producer's Assistant, she worked on many of Tyler Perry's shows, including, "House of Payne," "I Can Do Bad All By Myself," and "Why Did I Get Married, Too?"

As a Producer, her last project was a film titled: "First Impression," which is now available on Netflix.

Rae can be characterized as an entrepreneur who is ever-learning and ever-exploring. Not only is she active as a Film Career Consultant, she is also a Licensed Health and Wellness Practitioner, Sports Massage Therapist, and Christian Life Coach.
