Guylaine Bourget

Guylaine Bourget was born in Gaspé, Québec, Canada in 1954. Her mother was an accomplished musician and painter, while her father, an electrician, excelled at creating a multitude of practical household items and repairing electric motors. She grew up in Murdochville, a bilingual copper mining town nestled in the Chic-Choc Mountains in the middle of the Gaspé peninsula. After teaching Nursing and working in a hospital, she worked in a First Nation reserve and a Community Health Centre before going back to school and becoming a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. She has been retired since 2015 and is now enjoying her many passions. Simply Mary-Lynn is her first book.
