Michelle J. Andrew

Michelle J. Andrew is a recent post grad in stop-motion animation, model and puppet making and a much less recent graduate of Zoology and Statistics. She happily returned to University after spending 20 years in an office writing statistical programs. She now idles away her days nurturing her creative side and playing to her inner child by covering herself in paint, glue and sawdust while sticking, drawing, sculpting, sanding, designing and carving miniature props and sewing pretty little dresses for her animation puppets. She is a single parent of two lovely but spirited little souls, one of 2 years and one of 9. She relates intensely to Louisa May Alcott becoming a mother at age 46.

Michelle lives on the bottom edge of the Peak District in rural England, on the estate of a manor house surrounded by fields, sheep and one particularly enchanting owl with her two boys, a grey-whiskered border collie and a cat called Lulu.

She hopes that Louisa May Alcott would approve of being immortalised in the shape of a six inch puppet but she suspects Louisa would tell her to go and do something more useful instead.
