Alan J. Inman

Alan J. Inman was born in Wilson, NC & was raised by his grandparents. Involved in the civil rights struggle in high school, he completed his undergrad degree at Temple University in Philadelphia where his mother was living. Later, he became a community activist in the Bronx, NY. On the basis of his personal life struggles as well as experiencing first hand the challenges of inner-city life in Philadelphia, the Bronx and the District of Columbia, Inman was drawn to offer his thoughts about wisdom on the family in his first book - "The Colors of Love."
