URFM Vision:

Fully alive through mind renewal and spiritual transformation for God's glory.

URFM Mission:

Our desire at URFM is to assist believers in experiencing healing for the wounded heart, restoration for the soul, and spiritual growth in Christ. Our prayer and deep desire are that you will experience Jesus Christ as your very source of life through the Holy Spirit.

Valy Vaduva was born in Romania when it was a communist country. He grew up in a Christian Orthodox family; his parents were not born-again believers. He was first exposed to the teachings of the New Testament at twelve years old.

...

In 1989, the Popular Revolution ended the 45-year communist regime in Romania. This set the stage for Valy and Elena to immigrate to the USA. In 1990, they arrived in Michigan with their four young children.

...

In 1996, Valy felt the promptings of the Holy Spirit to establish a 501(c)(3) organization. Thus Upper Room Fellowship Ministry (URFM) was founded.

...

Before 2004, Valy worked as an engineer but starting in July 2004; he dedicated himself to full-time ministry working for URFM.

...

Since then, Valy has traveled to a few continents: Europe, Australia, Asia, and Central America to admonish church leaders and parishioners to make discipleship and spiritual formation their highest priority in life and ministry.

Valy takes the Great Commission very seriously. He actively mentors Christians to become the best disciples of Christ that God created them to be.
