Jennifer Adkins

Jennifer Adkins was born in Virginia in 1965 and is currently living in Southwest Florida. Her debut children's book, Hello Harvey, was self-published in 2017. She began writing poems and short stories for her high school newspaper, The Wildcat Press, in a small town in Delaware. Jennifer incorporates her children and grandchildren into many of the stories she writes.

Jennifer's first character, Harvey A. Rabbit, was created in 1995 when she began her first draft of The Adventures of Harvey A. Rabbit. In 2015, Jennifer accepted a writing challenge from her niece Amber Tamosaitis and wrote 20 stories within 30 days. These writings became the Harvey & Friends Collection. The characters are often modeled after family and friends. Look for more Harvey & Friends books soon!
