Lulu Baba is my pen name. If you are curious about my given name, good for you! It is great to strive for more information!

Speaking of which, Lulu Baba Books are all about seeking more information. The stories I write are centered on teaching ACCEPTANCE, UNDERSTANDING and INTEGRATION so we may all learn to benefit from our differences. Through stories, I hope to enrich our relationships and ELEVATE our lives. .

My background is in healthcare. I am a licensed nurse with experience in geriatrics, outpatient care, at-risk youth, children with special needs, and in-home care.

Through my experience as a healthcare provider I have noticed a recurrent theme –a common thread if you will– that runs through everyone, tying us all together. That theme or thread is our desire to be CONNECTED.

Every individual I have had the pleasure to work with, no matter how broken (physically or emotionally), wishes in some way to be accepted, understood, and integrated into a supportive, loving community.

So, I started writing.

The stories I write focus on the development of emotional intelligence and healthy boundaries in children. The messages are simple and insightful enough to impact teenagers while still maintaining a level of profound depth for adults as well.

The mission of each story is to promote a higher level of inner awareness through asking questions and self-reflection. Healing, reconciliation, and love is the revolving theme.

The purpose of Lulu Baba Books is to motivate personal development in everyone, especially children, by teaching all of us how to ACCEPT, UNDERSTAND and INTEGRATE what truly makes each one of us special: our differences.

Some books I write are for young adults, and some even for educators (parents included), but the majority of my books are geared toward children.

More than anything, children yearn to explore and discover.

Activities involving art can help children discover the world around them through their own creativity. This is why Lulu Baba Coloring Story Books incorporate engaging stories along with coloring to establish a deeper relationship with the theme and moral of the story.
