Jim Bohen

Jim Bohen is a poet/songwriter from St. Paul, MN. He's booked a club's national music acts, worked for an Irish American cultural group, and been a book publicist, a freelance writer and the lead singer in rock and acoustic groups. His work has appeared in the Minnesota Daily, Big City Lit, Gyroscope, Talking Stick, the Preventable Gun Violence Project and elsewhere.

He's been short-listed three times for the erbacce prize (a worldwide competition). Unsolicited Press published his first poetry collection, “I travel in rusting burned-out sedans,” in 2018, and will publish another, "The Management has seized control of this book," in 2024.
