Master Coach Hu Dalconzo is an author, spiritual teacher and the founding father of the first spiritual life coaching healing modality, the HuMethod.™ His work stands shoulder to shoulder with other paradigm-shifting human potential movement greats such as Oprah Winfrey, Eckhart Tolle, Pema Chödrön, Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, Louise Hay, Marianne Williamson, and Ram Dass. In 1993, Coach Hu founded Holistic Learning Centers, North America’s oldest spiritual life coaching certification school.

Combining psycho-spiritual exercises and ancient spiritual practices, The HuMethod™ was developed from more than 10,000 pages of research. This transformational healing modality is clinically proven to create lasting behavioral change. The “Hu” in HuMethod™ refers to the subconscious, divine, and quantum powers that exist within all human beings. HuMethod™ certified coaches are taught how to tap into these universal powers to coach their clients on how to create permanent change.

Hu is the son of blue collar, Italian immigrants who settled in Manhattan in the 1920s. In 1974, Coach Hu was the first in his family to graduate from college (cum laude) with a degree in education. After 10 years of coaching and teaching emotionally handicapped children in New York’s inner-city schools, Coach Hu realized that helping students develop self-esteem was the key factor in their journey to growth, happiness, and independence.

The Awakening is infused with the wisdom gained from Hu’s hard-knock New York City beginnings. His life-giving work with at-risk youth, and his own cathartic spiritual transformation, led to the establishment of his renowned coaching school, and this groundbreaking book. Author of 14 coaching textbooks based on more than 20,000 client session hours logged since 1993, The Awakening: A Transformational Love Story is Hu’s first novel.

With his wife and soulmate of more than 40 years, Hu Dalconzo currently resides in New Jersey in a beautiful lakeside home just three short blocks from the shoreline. Their marriage was blessed with three mastery children reared using The HuMethod™ transformational coaching techniques.
