Jaime D. Caballero

Jaime D. Caballero took his doctorate in history at Queen's University Belfast, where he worked on natural law in the political thought of John Owen (1616-1683) under the supervision of Crawford Gribben. His work centres on the history of Christianity in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, with a particular interest in Reformed scholasticism and English Puritanism. He is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society and adjunct professor at Westminster Theological Seminary, where he teaches the history of the English Reformation and of English Puritanism.

In 2016 he founded Teología para Vivir, the publishing house he continues to direct, which has brought more than two hundred major works of the Reformed tradition into Spanish, invariably in unabridged and annotated editions. He has overseen the Spanish editions of Owen, Flavel, Edwards, Hodge, Bunyan and Vos, as well as the three-volume series John Owen y el puritanismo inglés.
