Sergio Messina

Sicily is the island where I was born, and Palazzolo Acreide nearby Siracusa the place where I grew up. I am a professional astronomer at the Italian National Institute of Astrophysics based in Catania. My research areas are physics of young stars, eso-planet search and characterization.

The issue of climate changes is of great interest to me and I take advantage of my research expertizes for doing my own analysis of time series of meteo data, collected either from the ground-stations or the satellites, during my free time.
