Eve Lyons is a poet, fiction writer, and playwright living in the Boston area with her spouse and her son. She grew up in San Antonio, Texas, and one of her first poetic influences was fellow San Antonian Naomi Shihab Nye, with whom she took a poetry workshop as a young adult. She attended Reed College in Portland, Oregon, and then Lesley University, where she trained to become an expressive arts therapist. She had the privilege of working with one of her favorite poets, Marge Piercy, in a juried poetry intensive.

Word Tech Communications published her first book for publication in May of 2020.
In the 1990’s she wrote a trilogy of short stories set in Israel about the same world of characters. One of those stories, “Sabra” was published in Women’s Words in the spring of 1997. The second of those stories, “Faithful” was published in Word Riot in September of 2010. And in 2020, Blood&Bourbon published the third in the series, entitled “Gravitational Force.”
