Laura Bruneau

Laura Bruneau, PhD, is a professor at Adams State University in the Department of Counselor Education. Her research interests include creative approaches in counseling, and has a passion for learning about and promoting the human-animal bond. Bruneau has coauthored many publications in the area of animal-assisted interventions. In her most important role, however, she is Moose’s companion and handler. She and Moose, a 10-year-old therapy dog, have been a registered Pet Partners Team since 2011.
