Denise Dunham

Denise Cappiello Dunham (1956- present) She was born in Sacramento, CA. but grew up in rural California where life adventures consisted of riding bikes through mud puddles and walking around the town upon its wooden fences.

Even before she could read her mom encouraged her young desire to tell stories to her classroom of dolls. That seed of encouragement blossomed into a life-fulfilling passion to tell the good news to children through story.

Denise doesn't believe in growing old. She ran her first marathon at the age of 56 and at the end of that same year her second. She also doesn't believe in an empty nest, their home has constantly been filled with the laughter and chatter of no less than 4 -7 girls.

Her passion for stories has rubbed off on her daughters and grandkids. She can't think of a better legacy than for them to follow in her footsteps; bringing glory to God through a story.
