Kyle Coare

Kyle Coare is a highly prolific, contemporary

Leicester-based spoken word artist, poet,

and poetry event co-ordinator.

Writing with a raw, visceral realism combined

with surreal magic and ethereal landscapes,

his work masterfully dismantles the complexities

of the adult neurodivergent experience, trauma survival,

and the profound beauty found hidden within ordinary

daily routines. His work has been described

as rebellious but kind-hearted - a thought-provoking

carousel of dreams, rage, and sympathy all at once.

His work is written with the eye of a storyteller,

blending horror, sci-fi, and more traditional poetic

forms to create a whole universe of words.

As a creator on the autistic/ADHD spectrum,

Kyle treats poetry not merely as a creative outlet,

but as a deliberate science of emotional reclamation,

transforming personal shadows into a universal

sanctuary of radical empathy.

He is the author of several independent collections,

including Moonlight Whispers and Carpe Noctem.

His work has featured on BBC radio and Bcb Radio in Bradford,

as well as Puukar magazine.

He has won numerous slams and performs regularly.

When he isn’t putting his own thoughts to paper,

Kyle is the driving force behind Get Mouthy Leicester,

a grassroots poetry night dedicated to helping fresh

voices find their feet on the stage and fostering an

inclusive, unmasked arts community.

Peace, Love & Poetry.
