Carol Thompson

I am a Teacher Educator, Mentor and Researcher currently working in Higher Education. In these roles I support trainee teachers, teaching assistants and mentors across all age phases of education. My work is focused on providing practical professional development and my hope is that my books support people in achieving their learning goals.

Personally I like reading books that are clear, well-researched and relevant to practice and that has influenced my writing. I aim to write content that is not only practical but is a pleasure to read. That’s my aim... it is of course down to the readers to decide if this has been realised!
