Rick Verde

Rick Verde was born in Livingston, New Jersey, to Uruguayan immigrant parents. He would spend most of his young adult life being raised in Elizabeth, New Jersey, where he attended Saint Mary's High School, before getting his Associates in Business Management. Years later he would get his Bachelors in Business Management from Kean University.

It was during his graduation after Spike Lee had bored the graduating class to sleep, that Rick's passion for writing would be refueled. An author he had never heard of before, but apparently a Kean alumn, came out and spoke. He was funny, sincere, and was able to bring an energy to the crowd. That author was none other than Harlan Coben.

Since then, Rick has gone on to get his Masters in Accounting and Financial Management relocated to California and published his debut novel, Killing Xenu.

Currently, Rick works as an accountant, while making Youtube videos to help out new writers with issues they face, that he too had to overcome. He is also a blogger (www.rickverde.com), where again he discusses writing tips to help out anybody looking to write their first novel.

He is also working on his follow up novel, Screwed. Which he hopes to be completed and published by the end of 2019, early 2020.
