Mr. Stephen P. Koelsch

Stephen Koelsch currently lives in Chester Couny, Pa. He grew up in Ohio as one of eight children, and was raised and nurtured in a loving family. He has lived on both coasts while enjoying the challenges life has brought him. His daughter Samantha and her three children are the great blessings of his life.

His first three books, Dancing Bare, The Cold Wick and Penumbra are available through Amazon. His latest book, Crossing the River of Denial is now available in paperback and soon as an ebook!

Stephen has been a member of several poetry associations, including the Newark Arts Alliance, the Delaware Literary Association, IMPAC, and Cleveand’s The Lit. He has been published in various regional and national magazines; Including Razzle, Heartland, Mobius, Dream Streets, Array, Bear River Anthology, to name a few. He has hosted and been a featured poet in many local and regional events.

Stephen is also an accomplished visual artist in multiple media, focusing mainly on clay monoprinting (see book covers).

Artistic Statement. I am seeking outlets to express my awareness of life as a human being on this small plane, and my search for meaning and value within it. I have found it to be true that life is a journey where we meet ourselves along the way.
