Dr. Vincentia Schroeter

Vin Schroeter grew up in a large family and was intrigued by how all the different personalities in the household interacted. Siblings competed, played, fought, laughed and cried together. Vin knew she wanted to be a counselor from the time she was sixteen years old and spent over 40 years in that field.

As a somatic psychotherapist, specifically Bioenergetic Analysis, she worked to help people reduce chronic tension in their bodies that had contributed to their struggles. Vin used her expertise in somatic psychotherapy, as well as her knowledge of how the brain works, as the unique lens to help people boost their communication skills in her self-help book, "Communication Breakthrough."

During Covid, Vin gathered and edited some of her favorite blog posts and did the chalk art for the chapbook, "Tilt: Seeking Balance in Troubled Times." The memoir, "Babymaking," follows her journey of longing to have a baby, and going through trials of infertility, baby loss, and adoption.
