With over 40 years of combined experience loving and training dogs, my sister Hope and I have lots of dog stories to share! From the bold and easily trainable to the socially inept and everything in between, our dogs have run the gamut. Hope currently has 2 French Bulldogs who are as different as night and day. And I have 2 Boston Terriers (yikes!) and a Brussels Griffon, Tango.

We have been teaching, training and competing in Obedience, Rally and Agility with our dogs for about 20 years, and have loved (almost) every minute.

In fact, I didn't start out as a dog trainer. But circumstances forced me into it - I got the agility bug and, well, one thing led to another and ... I got Tango. I knew he'd be a fun agility dog, but there's a reason that the subtitle of my book about Tango includes the word "Hellhound." Training was needed and I discovered that I really love it.

Hope and I also own a boutique specializing in items for small dogs, Golly Gear; and online at GollyGear.com. We love it when our customers bring their little dogs into the shop. This allows us to help them find just the right product for any issues that they're having with their pups. Frequently an on-the-spot training lesson occurs, when someone says, "My dog won't ..." We love sharing our expertise!

We've designed training logs to make it easy to record each session's notes so it's easy to pick up training your dog where you left off the day before.
