Lindsay B. Nauen

Biography

Lindsay Nauen was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She was educated at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, where she received a B.A. in psychology in 1972 and an M.L.S. in 1974. Later she did graduate work in history at Temple University, Philadelphia and in 1988 received an M.B.A. with an accounting concentration from the Carlson School, University of Minnesota.

Lindsay’s first professional career was archivist and included positions in Wisconsin, Mt. Vernon, NY, Philadelphia, PA, and Pierre, SD. She also worked as a librarian for Minnehaha County, South Dakota.

In 1988, after receiving her MBA she started her second career, in accounting, which included being the Business Administrator of a private school before starting her own business, Nauen Mobile Accounting, in 1993. She sold the business to Pinkham Tax and Accounting in 2014 and continues to work part-time.

Lindsay has been married to Richard Weil since 1975. Son Noah, born in 1980, married Brianna Blaser in 2010 and they have two children, Evelyn, born 2014, and Asher, born 2017. Son Ben, born in 1982, married Sara in 2006 and they have two children, Macy, born 2007, and Emmett, born 2010.

In 2006 she began her fitness journey and that has transformed her. She now is an athlete participating in a variety of events each year. Lindsay also enjoys reading, bridge and playing games. She lives in St. Paul, MN
