Dr Kavitha N Krishnan

Dr. Kavitha N Krishnan was born in Malaysia but had all all her early education done in Singapore, did her undergraduate studies in the United Kingdom and graduate studies in the United States at University of Pittsburgh (post professional masters) and University of Illinois- Chicago (post professional doctorate). She has been an occupational therapist for 21 years with extensive experience in pediatrics. She has completed two Maternal and Child Health fellowships in Interdisciplinary Leadership Education in Neurodevelopment and Related Disabilities (LEND) with a focus in autism. She completed an intensive sensory integration practicum at Camp Avanti, completed her post-professional masters clinical preceptorship at the Children’s Institute of Pittsburgh with a focus on sensory integration and completed her advanced clinical specialization for her post professional doctorate at the Centro Ann Sullivan Del Peru, in Lima, Peru. She has guest lectured in University of Illinois-Chicago and serves as adjunct lecturer at Winston Salem State University. In 2011, she earned the Beatrice D Wade award for Clinical Education while working at University of Illinois Chicago.
