Michelle Meier may have jumped out of a perfectly good airplane three times in her life but nothing scared her more than losing her mom. When the devastating news of her mom’s imminent death struck her family, she learned to turn tragedy into triumph.
She believes that true freedom and joy can only be achieved when we’re willing to face our innermost feelings, our fears and our emotional wounds and learn from them.
This is why she wrote “A Beautiful Death: A Memoir of Surviving Loss” and is now writing her next book "From Heartbreak To Happiness: How To Transform Grief Through Grace" (working title), to talk about the things most of us don’t want to talk about: death, loss and grief and, most importantly, how to let go of the suffering that comes with grief and how to transform grief into growth, purpose and joy.
In confronting her deepest heartbreak, Michelle broke free from the pain that threatened to keep her from seeing the beautiful life ahead of her.
Aside from yoga and dance, writing is her greatest outlet, which she discovered when penning her first poem at age eight.
Michelle is a grief coach, founder of the G.R.A.C.E. Method and a yoga therapist C-IAYT with a passion for assisting others on their own path of healing whether from injury, illness or a broken heart. Visit her website and her blog at www.flowintograce.com.
