Leonora Cohen

Nora Cohen is an emeritus professor of education at Oregon State University. Her research focuses on creativity, talent development, children’s interests, and coping. In retirement, she spends winters in San Miguel de Allende in Mexico, where she volunteers with several non-profit organizations and writes bilingual (English and Spanish) children’s books to benefit them. Her two delightful grandchildren inspire her stories!

Drawings are done by high school or early college-level students, whom she mentors (and pays well!) to become book illustrators. All royalties are donated to NGOs that help children, families, or pets in the state of Guanajuato, Mexico.
