Rick Kappra is a retired ESL instructor. After 40 years of teaching, he is now free to pursue his passion — travel.

"Kannon Showed Up" (2026) is his first travel memoir, chronicling his experience navigating the Owari 33 Kannon Pilgrimage around Nagoya. Coming in 2027: "Bali Belly and Tales from Other Worlds." In the planning stages: "Mary, Please! A Questioner Walking Among the Faithful."
