Garrett Ward

Garrett Ward is a life-long lover of books who turned his passion for the written word into a profession. He has been writing for as long as he can remember — though his journey hasn’t always been an easy one. After struggling to get started and battling writer's block, he turned to his sister for help and co-authored seven books with her. Through the process of co-authoring and self-publishing these books, Garrett gained the confidence he needed to make it on his own. Perhaps his greatest achievement to date is the completion of his first solo novel, The Haunting and Eldritch Manor, a project he completed on his own and that brings him great joy.

The dream of being a published author has been with Garrett since his childhood. He has vivid memories of himself, his brother, and his sister making up fantastical stories together under their covers at night and dreaming of the day that they would see their stories in print. Now that he is an adult with an illustrious career as an award-winning accountant behind him, Garrett has finally realized his writing dream. His incredible imagination and ability to dream up detailed worlds, characters, and situations lend themselves to the fantasy and paranormal genre, where he can write without the restrictions of reality to hold him back.

In addition to bringing riveting adventures to life on the page, Garrett is passionate about making people laugh. His wife of 37 years, Kathi, insists that he is not nearly as funny as he thinks he is, but that doesn’t stop him from trying to make her and the rest of the world laugh every day. His vision for the future is to expand his collection of self-published books by adding at least two more titles to The Haunting and Eldritch Manor universe. When he isn’t engrossed in a book or dreaming up new adventures for his cast of characters, Garrett can be found spending quality time with his wife, their three children, and four dogs at home in Pensacola, Florida.
