My two newest works are THE SEVEN SIBLINGS OF VICENC ZAPATA (a cycle of 8 stories based on Russian classics and set in modern-day Catalonia) and THE SPIRIT OF THE ALLAGASH (a ghost story for middle-grade kids).

Earlier in 2024 I released my short fiction collection, THE BOTTOM OF THE GRAB BAG, FOGGY BOTTOM STORIES--28 stories of beltway insiders, aging heroes, social justice, guns, nudism, and general genital ingenuity.

3 other collections of short fiction--A HORDE OF COSSACKS, THE ABSENT AND THE DEAD and A THOUSAND WAYS TO FAIL--are still available on Amazon.

I also have 3 other novels on Amazon: the most recent is AN IQ OF 84: A GAIJIN CHRONICLE, which follows a young man in Japan who is cursed to keep running into a certain author of magical realism. THE UNSETTLER, is a dystopian YA story set in 22nd-century California, originally released in installment form by SERIAL Magazine. THE NSG is a speculative tale for young adults: 3 teenage brothers discover how to work together to become Nearly Super Guys.

I also have a few poetry collections available: A FEEL FOR THE WATER, published in 2022, contains the usual humor, political satire, and ruminations on family life. 3 previous collections still available are ESSENTIALISM, CONFESSION TO THE COCKROACHES, and APPARENTLY. One cycle of poems is in French: LA MEILLEURE ANNEE DU SIECLE.
