I wrote a book called "A Chance Meeting with Life, Inside an Intensive Care Unit and Out" about our daughter's survival in a major medical event. To maintain the rights of our story, I self-published which began something akin to the "give a mouse a cookie" circular story. Because self-publishing a book means hiring an editor and finding a talented book designer and acquiring an ISBN which means joining the Author's Guild, creating a website, and so much more which means writing another book...

The publishing of "A Chance Meeting with Life" happened by chance as being an author happened by chance. Writing a second book did not. I found my sixth grade teacher fifty years later and wrote her story, "The Never Forgotten Child, the Story of Our Teacher, Margaret Ann Savage." Words and phrases, sentences and concepts often come into my head, a life of their own so I wrote a third book of poems, "Undisciplined, Poems Left to Their Own Devices." Enjoy, dear reader!
